Safferz Posted April 19, 2013 This is what the door to door dragnet is looking like in Watertown right now:
Safferz Posted April 19, 2013 They lifted the stay indoors order! But still no suspect.
Safferz Posted April 19, 2013 Spoke too soon... shots fired in Watertown and reports that suspect is down (not sure if dead or injured) in or near a boat in a backyard, and they're sending in a robot to determine whether or not he's wired with explosives. Safferz Posted April 20, 2013 And they captured him alive. What a relief! That house was less than four miles from my apartment
Che -Guevara Posted April 20, 2013 Finally got out of the house, streets and trains were so empty but so nice outside.

Che -Guevara Posted April 20, 2013 ^I learned one thing from this event. Terrorism attacks affect white folks than black folks. It was white tranquility that was shattered this week.

Yes, I heard they're not mirandizing him because of a public safety exigency. 10,000 law enforcement officials with tactical weaponry, armoured vehicles and military helicopters shut down a major US city in pursuit of ONE suspect, and searched homes without warrant or homeowner consent... all of this is an important (and somewhat terrifying) historical precedent. Jacpher Posted April 20, 2013 This must the only time in history where law enforcement hold their guns back and not fire at a suspect that's shooting at them. Take him alive; don't fire back was the top order. Let him bleed out, tire him out, let him run out of rounds. Though he's in critical condition, every attempt is being made to keep him alive or put on suicide watch. Nice work Boston police. The country is behind you. Job well done.
