Rumaysah Posted April 19, 2013 A very moving story of a young brother in jail, only 17 years of age, who was imprisoned on a murder charge, and was to be executed. Depressed, and hopeless, this Daa`i advised the youth to be firm on their salah, to keep their hearts tied to Allah, and to constantly make the Du`a of Yunus (AS), which is as follows: لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ ...none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allâh)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."
