xiinfaniin Posted June 25, 2013 ^^Because he slipped at the get go due to a bad counsel surrounding him. He will have to eat his words back, and mend fences with this segment of Somali politics.
Haatu Posted June 25, 2013 Xasan made a school boy error. You can't neglect the wishes of a large section of the country and still want to succeed as the President.
Mafia Posted June 25, 2013 I don't know if you can "MEND" trust. Once it's lost, is it's lost. xiinfaniin;964328 wrote: ^^Because he slipped at the get go due to a bad counsel surrounding him. xiinfaniin Posted August 12, 2013 The Kismayo equation has been solved , the core foundations of this federal state has been laid and solidified. Yesterday former PM Geedi saw the light and publicly endorsed. His bold stance is bellwether for the large UNUKA community who has a significant financial interest in Mombasa and Kenya. We have twenty days to finalize an understanding with Hassan or the Kismayo mustang will speed away , for good.

xiinfaniin Posted August 12, 2013 The cracks in the UNUKA are there for all to see. Lets hope tolka does what is good for Somalia. It is funny Malistar is still talking about Kismayo handover and Kenya leaving after what has transpired. Lets hope Canbuulo is not as naive

GAROODI Posted August 13, 2013 Hassan sheick will not budge on two things: the port and the airport have to come under the government 100% and without that madobe has nothing. He simply wants to talk to say I tried but nothing will come of it. If he loses kismayo he loses support amongst his kinsmen that he will never surrender. Xin is beating a dead horse in a vein hope that it comes back to life. Today or tomorrow kismayo will eventually fall to the government.

President Hassan has zero leverage in Kismayo, he is seen just as another warlord. Madoobe's decision to delay the cabinet announcement isn't a good faith attempt to reconcile with Mogadishu but a political move to convince external parties that Mogadishu was invited but rejected. Remember the cabinet was formed 45 days ago, and to my knowledge, with the exception of one minority group, all other delegations accepted the new cabinet. The issues surrounding the announcement part is just about obtaining maximum legitimacy of the outcome in the eyes of external parties (donor nations.) Haatu Posted August 13, 2013 No one will rule Kismaayo without the permission of Afmadoow. Sad but a reality on the ground. If Xasan believes otherwise, then good luck to him. Until he gets this, he stay in his naughty corner in Villa Somalia.

The same applies to Madoobe as well he will never be able to rule kismayo or the jubba regions without the other folks permission.
