Nigerian author Chinua Achebe, acclaimed in part for his 1958 novel "Things Fall Apart," has died, his British publisher, Penguin Books, said Friday. He was 82....

Heard about him in First year of univeristy...Being the only Student of African decent (Black is a wrong term) in the classroom I felt some what embarrassed when everyone else knew about him and I was like,,,,,eeeeehhh, Say what, WHo?
