There is no hostility there is no war , people of Somalia can visit Somaliland and are welcome in Somaliland no problem at all, its just the goverment of Somalia and goverment in Somaliland haven't agreed on their future relations.

Somaliland: Airport Security Detain the Official Spokesperson for Somali PM

Somaliland security apparatus based at the Berbera international Airport have detained the official spokesperson of the Somalia Prime minister Mr. Abdi Farah Shirdoon as he disembarked a plane for a short rest last evening during a stopover Somalilandpress.com has learned.

 

The Prime minister spokesperson whose name is Abdishakur was caught when he disembarked for a short rest after a plane bound for a Mogadishu made a routine stopover at the Berbera airport, but to his dismay airport authorities detained him after they were ordered so by the Somaliland immigration department.

 

According to reliable sources the man is currently held under detention by security officials in unknown location in the port city of Berbera.

 

The detained man employer Somali Prime minster Mr. Abdi Farah Shirdoon is well known for his distaste towards the people of Somaliland of whom many accuse been an obstacle to any future reconciliations between Somaliland and Somalia.

No need to get bent out of shape. Just a little muscle-flexing by the Siilaanyo administration.

 

To avoid these kind of inconveniences, just avoid travelling through Somaliland cities while flying to and from Mogadishu.

 

Oh, I forgot... That's quite difficult to do the majority of the time...

 

Damn those Somalilanders! ;)

Transit passengers should not be harassed, it is against the international aviation laws. There should be an area in our airports marked "beyond Somaliland border".

So this is the real reason. The man is an obstacle to the reconciliation. :D

lool I know him, I met him in Mogadishu. He is from London and the Wasirul Dawlaha of Warfaafinta.

 

XX, you said he was traveling from Dubia to Barbara and then to Mogadishu and at the same time u said he was not in transit ? you also said , if he was in transit you should have stayed in the plain loooool what happened to the waiting room ?

 

Its clear you have kidnapped the man, so how much ransom is your government demanding ?
