Siilaanyo and his delegation went to Ankara, met with foreign minister and got some development projects. That is what you tell the Hargeysa street, and all is correct. What you are not telling however are followings: Siilaanyo did not go there for photoops , these projects were already in the pipe as a result of TIKA assessment that were carried out few months back in last year in many Somali reginos, that Erdogan declined to meet Siilaanyo, and as Zaman Daily writes, Somalia's teroterial integrity was reaffirmed in the meetings, and Somaliland was treated as it should as a stable but a Somali region .

 

In London front, the fact Siilaanyo had to announce his refusal says it all.

Actually President siilaanyo and his trip to turkey was a success when it comes to development including the oil company and the turkish airlins to Somaliland. Siilaanyo and Erdogen were scheduled to meet if you can read Turkish it was all in the plan but he was ill unfortunately

Also the news paper at one time they quote the Somali diplomat in turkey. those were not turkish diplomats this is what the turks said

 

Within Somalia there are several regions, including Somaliland, that have their own administrative structure and a president. It is claimed that Somaliland is as separatist region; however, it would be wrong to qualify it as such,” said the diplomat

The Turkish diplomat clearly states that Somaliland should not be categorized as a separatist region. Because the Turks know the exact history of Somaliland and how it came to existence.

 

As for the London conference we applaud the Somaliland goverment not attending the conference the President didn't say he was going to attend the conference before. He said he first wants to read the program of the conference he never said he was going to attend.

 

Now that we agree the trip was a success on all fronts. can you elaborate why the Kismayo admin is back to Kismayo with no results and how come they didn't hold a press conference yet . But we shall keep this thread a live for the next coming days and weeks and see how the Jubbaland project develops.

Because culusow cancelled the unconstitutional conference in Kismayo the Kikuyus are now facilitating the conference in Nairobi but its a low profile one the Kikuyus do not want to go against the Somali government. By the way the delegation is back in Kismayo , yet they didn't hold a press conference, i think waxbakama so bixin shirkaas hadi kale wanu maqli lahayn. The doollow shir was more important.

Ras Kambooni can't have less than 3,000 when they run the entire administration in Lower Jubba besides Kismayo.Ahmed Madoobe could have as much as 6,000 men under him.

A faction of the gedo community declared their support for the Jubbaland state making. But the most important faction from gedo the governor of gedo Mr Kallil is not on board and he has the most troops of the gedo Militia allied to the goverment in Xamar. I dont think even Col cabaas and the rest of the gedo camp will agree on the formation of Jubbaland when their biggest toll is not on board.
