Nairobi meeting between Kismayo admin, Gedo and SFG reps is nearing conclusion. All issues has been resolved satisfactorily for all sides involved (a rarity in Somalia polity, but that is what is reported).

I doubt it the gedo troops are already in Kismayo they are being kept in one part of the city where the Amisom kenyans are. And the conference in kismayo was cancelled altogether. Not sure how legitimate the conference in Kenya will be in the context of building a state for Somalia's jubba region.

As we said many times before, many will be disappointed in the outcome of Jubbaland Conference.

 

Things have been ironed out, fleshed out, and there is no change of the Conference leadership, there is a talk the government will bless the conference as requested ----this time there is a good chance the PM will go to Kismayo .
