metta Posted March 23, 2013 Somalia's population is expected to be 40-50 million in 2050. There are about the same number of Somalis right now in Ethiopia/Kenya/Ethiopia/Yemen as there are in Somalia today. Somalis in those countries and in Somalia have similar birth rates. We are looking at a total Somali population of around 80 million in 2050. We need it to be over 200 million. All Somalis do your part and breed. BREED. This number is unacceptable in 2050. You need 20 kids each.

Carafaat Posted March 23, 2013 Xaaji you over exagerate. Oromos sing few Somali songs, how many Somalis sing Ethiopian songs. It only shows appreciation for eachothers culture.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 23, 2013 Carafaat this is just more than singing a song its about corrupting and copying the Somali culture and songs, i need to have a word with Al khaleeji that these people are corrupting his beautiful song alam dheh. Sulleiman The Great Posted March 24, 2013 the orormo are a good muslim people they are our genetically and culturally the closest thing somali have with the rest of the dark continent, the bantu expansion has been happening for hundreds of years, and right now its is in mugdishu, we somali need to understand that the oromo are our ally, we need to come together and look beyond tribal differences, build our nation raise our children with the strength and love to safeguard our land our people and our culture, if not we will go extinct, I for one dont care which path we choose nor will history. metta Posted March 24, 2013 There is no Bantu expansion in Muqdisho as in permanent resettlement. The only reason why you see a rise in Bantus in Muqdisho is because they are IDP's. They are coming for services and shelter from the past famine and the Shabab and the violence. Once the violence ends, they will all go back to their areas. They don't want to start a new life in Muqdisho. They want to go back to their homes. Besides, Bantus are 1000x better than Oromos. Bantus work hard and contribute to society. They have a 0% unemployment rate among khat addicted skinnies. They do stuff regardless of the situation. Oromos don't. Oromos are lazy and unemployed here in Canada where there are opportunities. Forget about Africa. I don't mind if Oromos live in Somalia but they must be fully integrated in Somalia. They must claim Somali clans. They must learn Somali and must only speak in Somali. They must act and be a Somali. They must act as if the Oromo is an enemy. If not, Oromo expansion should be fought tooth and nail.
Tallaabo Posted March 24, 2013 ^ What? Are you a Somali Nazi now?? The problem is not with the Oromos in Somalia or Somaliland but those in Ethiopia who are continuously overtaking Somali provinces. Those are the problematic ones who should be stopped.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 24, 2013 Tallaabo you nailed it even though i believe Bantus Metta is right that Bantus are much more productive than oromos.

But the only problem with the Oromo is their persistant expansion into our territories.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 24, 2013 No the problem is if they claim Somali culture language they will try to use that as a tool to invade the Somali territory u have to understand its a tool they use. So they need to be stopped on all fronts.
Tallaabo Posted March 24, 2013 ^ Xaaji there is no Oromo conspiracy to invade the the Somali territories or use culture and language to overtake us. Their expansion comes with their natural growth in population and the resultant movement of people in search of livelyhood. And in Galbeed, Somalis have little power to resist such influx of migrants as they are within the Ethiopian borders.

If not, Oromo expansion should be fought tooth and nail Its funny you say that if they claim Somali they will become Somali but that's not good since we do not want to conquer them them claiming Somali would have made sense if we wanted to expand into oromia but we are not after nazaret and adama. The Shewan Amharas did that they mixed with the local oromos and constructed the Shewen identity a mixed heritage. Thats how the Amaharas captured much of the oromo territory some where in the mid 1800s.The Amhara Kings and elites had a policy to mix with the indigenous oromos paternally and maternally, but the language that was spoken would be all the time Amharic and the religion would be orthodox Christendom so when Menelik was expanding he had oromo generals who spoke Amharic and thats how he further expanded into their territory and thats how the Amharas defeated the oromos and created the new Ethiopia. But we Somalis are not after their land we want to protect the Somali galbeed region from these intruders thats the objective.

Their might not be conspiracy but the eastern oromo tribes want to imitate the Somali and go from there they know their numbers will increase its not natural growth they breed like rabbits They have more children than the average Ethiopian
