Somalia Posted February 28, 2013 The powerful HAG has been weakened. This does not bode well for centrists.
xiinfaniin Posted February 28, 2013 As expected Gedo has spoken in support of Jubbaland state. There has never been a doubt about the criticality of Gedo participation. Thanks Gabal for the update.

Gabbal Posted March 1, 2013 I merely encapsulated what Aw-Libaax's deputy said, however some problems have arisen after the spokesman of one of the camps refuted it. The conference has not ended and it seems discussions are ongoing. I will refrain from commentary until they officially remark on their agreements. The main problem is not the idea of Jubbaland itself but when it is appropriate the begin the initiative. The Gedo governor's side believes the land must be totally freed. He rightfully observes two districts of Gedo, all of middle Jubba, and barely 10 kms of Kismaayo are all Shabaab are occupied and they must be liberated first. Maxaa degdegan maamul u sameynta keeniya, atleast wait till all areas are freed or only appoint the mayors for the liberated districts. Wixii iminka afduub ayee u eegtahay. Does this mean that the rumors we have been hearing is true, that reer Gedo iyagaa is khilaafsan oo dad midaysan ma ahan? And when is the final outcome released and does mean this will be the end of khilaafaad and united on the formation of Jubba admin regardless of the timing mase wali timing ayaa la isku haystaa? The Zack Posted March 2, 2013 Waranle, cidda xeydha jecli beerka jecli ay ku jirtaa.. Some of them can't free themselves from the HAG alliance mentality, others are saying let's join the new states and get away from seeking a qabiil alliance from walaalaha galgaduud. Let's see who wins here.. obviously right and wrong baa isku dhaggan. Haddeey isku raacaan iney ka hadhaan state-ka cusub, I am sure they will enjoy joining walaalahood Reer Bay and Bakool and make their own state. Either option should work fine. oba hiloowlow Posted March 2, 2013 Kaliil and sayid aden group makes the most sense, they are saying lets liberate all of jubbaland before starting the state, and the ahmed madoobe camp want to establish the maamul before the kenyan elections.
