Aaliyyah Posted February 14, 2013 One of my co-worker gave me and other co-workers gifts today. I accepted it because the Prophet pbuh used to accept gifts and never refused them. I'm wondering though if the gift has implications, that is it was given to you to mark the valentine Occasion. Would it then be seen in a different light and be haraam to accept?.. Besides what's wrong w/this co-worker giving gifts on V-day knowing its contemporary inference! (i probably over thinking of this issue)..N'ways pardon me.
