Mintid Farayar Posted January 22, 2013 You guys are missing the larger point. It's irrelevant who met with who and who gave permission to who for a visit. What's more relevant is the 'immediate and very loud' denials by all politicians in Somaliland when they are accused of facilitating Somaliweyn policies. This shows how toxic (political suicide) this concept is for the public in a system where you come to power through the mass vote!
The Sage Posted January 23, 2013 So is Mintid actually suggesting that governments shouldn't be responsive to the demands and consensus of it's citizens? That kind of thinking actually makes me worried for the political discourse in the south and if democracy will ever take root in Xamar
