Jacaylbaro Posted January 18, 2013 It is always good to strengthen the ground support for the upcoming Somaliland recognition. Good move and congrats to those involved
Jacaylbaro Posted January 18, 2013 The foreign policy has changed and it will keep changing with the time and circumstances .... I understand your frustration sxb but all is going well so far. No matter what policy, the fact that the recognition is coming soon doesn't change. It is coming sooner or later.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted January 18, 2013 If this Foreign policy is going to bear fruit than that's good, if not than there should be another alternative. Somalilad should have adopted such a foreign policy in 1997, When there was a vacuum in Somalia no AU troops, no Shabaab.Cigaal tried to reshape Somalia in a model that is favorable to Somaliland but his efforts were derailed by Cumar geele and the rest we know. Rayaales government was focused on the African union, while we all know the African union is being dictated from Brussels. And we all know how he screwed up by sending twice the same letter to the African union to accept Somaliland statehood. While meles zanawi clearly advised him to send a different letter in where he should have asked the AU to open a debate on the Somaliland case. And Siilaanyo's Foreign policy is more focused on the talks with Somalia and to attract foreign investors lets see where it leads Somaliland.
