Nonsense. That was an era when the two superpowers at the time[uS/USSR] were trying t get as many satellite states as possible on their side. Today is a different story. The US is the sole superpower. Larger and more richer nations than failed state Somalia do some dancing for uncle Sam hoping to gain some favours.

Che, I did listen to that earlier and it seems they still don't get it that they are dangling in the wind..Somalia scored Ten Nill against his ministry!

I would like to think Somalia is that capable but it seems this was foregone conclusion since Hilary wagged her finger at the miserable bunch we called leaders. Somalia will score if they know how to take advantage of this opportunity. We will see if Xasan, Saacid and Jawari are up to the job. The good news so far is that they are not at each other's throat as was the tradition in the past.
