Kismaayo is bigger. I don't think Marka is even on the top 5 biggest cities in Somalia.

Kismaayo is bigger. But Marka Cadeey is also big for a small city, definitely not a city u could walk from one end to other in short period of time. It has grown a lot too after the war.

I've been to Kismayo. It is no longer the third Somali largest city in Somalia proper. That was a long time ago. Many cities like Bosaso, Baydhabo, Galkacyo, and Burco have surpassed it in the past 20 + years. Demographics have seriously changed during the war. Kismayo may be at the bottom top 10.

 

The three largest cities are: Mogadishu, Hargeisa and Bosaso.
