Unders is from Zambia and was educated at Stanford in microbiology and wrote his PhD on ' the symbiosis of the Zambezi's diverse marine-biology and its political and allegorical manifestations under Kaunda's sector reforms in the National Disaster Agency of 1978'. he likes polo and has Zambia's largest collection of stamps.
