walaalkis Posted December 30, 2012 Who can live like this. Refugees in kenya today , refugees in ethiopia tomorrow. This is sad beyond believe. Let's see where this ends. By the time they get back to the capital, they won't run into another civil war that got them into nairobi in the first place.

GaraadMon Posted December 30, 2012 I admire the resilience of Somali-Kenyans. They, unlike the western Somalis, face true adversity, yet they carry on without howling about the lack of government money and basketball courts.
Abwaan Posted December 31, 2012 We will ask the Kenyan in six months time whether targeting Somalis was a good move or not. Their economy baynka go'an tahay Soomaali dhul la'aani ma haysee.
Tallaabo Posted December 31, 2012 With the end of hostilities in Somalia, the Somalis will return to their homeland, the UN will leave Nairobi, the numerous relocated embassies will re-relocate to Mogadishu, the aid agencies will follow, the dollar will say its goodbyes and leave, and the Kikuyu will be left scratching his head and wondering whether his rather short golden age is about to come to an abrupt end. nuune Posted December 31, 2012 I can confirm in the past week, 5 hotels that were owned by Somalis were closed to the doors, the losers would be the owners who used to get higher rent payment from Somalis each month. I can also confirm about dozens of supermarkets were closed, final destination, Somalia. I can also confirm that Jet Express, Sask Airline, 50 Express airways, and 4 others started new services to Mogadishu, all leased planes by South African businessmen. I can also confirm that Nairobi City Council is sitting there wondering what to do, already losing tax revenues, and are way too behind for this years budget, all that changed in a matter of days, imagine what would happen in the next few months.
