STOIC Posted December 20, 2012 Yeah in what capacity is this pompous assss going to talk with Somaliland authority? He is just an academic and not a person of authority from Somalia government. If he wants to visit home he should be granted the permission without any restrictions.I hope Somaliland is way beyond those perhaps innocent yet angry misreadings of anyone that opposed the secession. He is one among many other Somaliland unionist. The only reason that Somaliland authority should care about what this pompous sensationalist professor of handicapped Somali politics will say is because he is a son of the soil and he should be given the right to lecture in any Somaliland university or town hall
Carafaat Posted December 20, 2012 Any citizen should be welcomed back to his land, irrelevent of his political vieuws. Sifir was made Ambassador of SL in Kenya. Proffesor Samater should atleast be invited by the President.
STOIC Posted December 20, 2012 Carafaat, You really like this dude.He is not the ONLY professor that have lectured four walls full of bedwetting Somali unionist. This dude has systematically and unfailingly tried many times to downplay the success of Somaliland. Now that he is polishing his services for Somaliland is our president suppose to go out of his way to invite him officially? This is the same guy that has tried many times, but failed to blatantly advance the anti-Somaliland school of thought. His school of thought, factual or manufactured or a combination of both, provided many occasions for him to give a sweeping condemnation of Somaliland aspirations...He absolutely have right to visit his hometown, but should not be put on position of high regard or adoration.... STOIC Posted December 20, 2012 That will only happen by a fortunate accident.Hope the leading organ of Somaliland take notes and badger you guys
STOIC Posted December 20, 2012 By not extending your unionist lot any necessary gestures that can systematically endanger the secession ambition...

Carafaat Posted December 21, 2012 Zack, as you are aware Prof Samater and Galeyr were the last high level opponents originating from Somaliland who oppossed Somaliland. Their supports only proves that Somaliland is here to stay, irrelevent of Siyadist wet dreams of Somaliland dissapearing.

Of course Samatar breaks or makes Somalileyn's recognition, from your perspective High level, huh? How is the level measured? How is Samatar a "high" level? Do you mean he was the only PhD holder that was opposing the enclave's statehood? How high is the level of Ilma Oomaar? How about the current Fowsiya? Does Buubaa or even Sifir count? Wey duushay bahasha mar haduu the one and only SAMATAR approved it (he hasn't yet by the way) We are talking about LACALLA if he does. LOL Who are Siyadists? Of course we won't mention that Siilaanyo and pretty much anybody in SL were Kacaanists. Siyad's own personal doctor is a head of political party in SL LOL. I wont be surprised if they develop a joint scheme to engage with Hargeysa ... Tell us a Somali political figure who is not opportunist.

Zack, Siifir is the SL Ambassador in Kenya these days. Fowzia, Ina Omaar and Buubs all have stated publicly they support Somaliland. There seem to be few and fewer ppl from SL left you can hide behind.
