Puntland government is planning to inaugurate the first television and radio channels since creation of Puntland , sources told Puntlandi. Puntland president Abdirahman Farole told journalists that new Television and Radio stations would be installed in Puntland as soon as possible. The building of the Puntland’s Media stations is about to be completed and all equipments are ready to be set up by expert technicians. Italy has donated the television and the radio for Puntland government . Many journalists in Puntland would have get employment opportunities as well as training facilities. The television and radio would be administered by Puntland’s Information Ministry but they would remain and work as independent media stations.
