Gaalkacyo 4.5 km Peace Marathon-First ever 4.5 km Marathon Held by Galkacyo Development Organisation

Over 180 runners participated in Galkayo's first 4.5 km Marathon named Peace Marathon.

 

Start: Gaalkacyo city centre

 

Finish: Galkayo Education, Peace and Development Organisation Compound in the Northern Outskirts of the city.

 

Important Features: Galkacyo's classic trademarks is put onto display. In Gaalkacyo no one shuns a competition and therefore half of thecities men population competed to save their face but dropped out shortly afterwards to tell everyone later how brilliant they were and how they took the competition head on.
