I don't bother with it, their slowing down etc but avoid downloads etc from corrupt sites.

If you must, try panda cloud or maybe old timer avast (both free, try tucows for downloading safe freewares).

AVG is free and half-decent the last time I used it which was eons ago. You shouldn't need to buy/download a separate anti-virus/spyware software nowadays though. Most ISPs provide you with a topnotch security package (anti-spyware, anti-virus, firewall, etc).

 

Just stay away from porn sites. Shady and porn sites are the only virus threats on the web anyways.

Just don't get Norton. I had that installed on my pc and still got infected with viruses that made it very slow. And the worst thing is I can't even uninstall it. I use to get 'Not Safe' website warning from Norton from time to time on Somaliaonline.com

Try this:click on the window button > then control panel > click programs > at the top it will say programs and features > click on it and a list of all the programs installed will show. Select avast > right click to uninstall and bob's your uncle mate

I think I have to do that, but this computer is bussiness computer, so formating monthly won't help using deep freeze which I use it in my personal computer won't help either...
