- Somaliland and Somalia will resume talks with a final agreement as a result.

- Amiir Godane will take the war to Nairobi Kenya

- South sudan will facilitate talks between Eritrea and Ethiopia with success

- Galmudug will get a fourth President

- Khatumo will merge with Somaliland

- Omar hassan all bashiir of sudan will be overthrown

- Somaliland will continue with oil exploration

- Mogadishu will continue to have a construction Boom with so many diasporas returning

- President Ismaciil Cumar geele of Djibouti will visit Beledweyne Hiiraan.

- KDF will stay in Somalia particularly in kismayo it will take another year before they liberate other parts of middle juba.

- Vote rigging in Kenya machetes will be used the international community will begin mediation.

- Sh sharif will restart his studies in America and will learn the English Language

The list of predictions by XX seem like safe bet and I dare say predictable, his untimely demise however will be unexpected.

Only Allah knows the exact time we will die but one thing is certain we shall all taste the pain of death sooner or later.

Al-Shabaab will be pushed towards Galguduud, and some will run into the mountains of Bari and Sanaag.

Sheikh Shariif will continue to live in retirement in Uganda.

Somaliland closes Sool border with Puntland, Maakhir stays with Puntland.

Jubbaland project will be divided into 3 provincial regions, Gedo, Middle and Lower Juba, Jubboyinka become a state, Gedo becomes an administrative region.

Hassan Sheikh provides no real change, more of the same, people will yearn for Badbaado Qaran.

Bay and Bakool region lobby for Gedo to become its 3rd state, in Baykoodo State.

Somaliland will dismiss Genel Energy due to environmental concerns, Puntland will drill near Garowe, findings will depend on political arena.

Galmudug finally realises unity is not possible and attacks Gelinsoor, and Hobyo. Then attacks Puntland. Declares victory and denounces violence, promotes peace.

Abdiweli will return to US after opening a political party with fellow intellectuals and Harvard graduates.

Che joins Al-Shabaab, says he wants to have fun.

its been a big year. next year will be less spectacular as Somali politics changes every 3.5 years, at least big changes.

I am not in the business of predicting , but here are my expectations :

 

1- The establishment of Jubba state, Bu'aale as its capital

2- The establishment of May state, Baydhabo as its capital

3- Success on Somaliland/Federal Government talks, ending the political isolation of our SNM brothers

4- Local elections in Puntland, resulting in a constituent assembly to elect a president for the region

5- The emergence of cohesive political grouping from H clan in the south with Mogadishu as its center
