Libaax-Sankataabte Posted November 16, 2012 New York Times: Ibrahimovic’s Goal - Best Ever?. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kbslWQh-R_U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Ibrahimovic’s Goal: Best Ever? By ANDREW KEH The best goals are the products of instinct: split-second improvisations through which inner genius can surface. That was on display Wednesday in the waning minutes of a friendly match between Sweden and England, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish striker, tried an audacious overhead kick and watched from his back as the ball looped into the goal from an almost unthinkable distance. http://goal.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/11/15/ibrahimovics-goal-best-ever/

His goal was good but nothing like the one Oscar scored for Chelsea against Juve or Suraz's goal from two weeks ago.
Khalid-Jnr Posted November 16, 2012 The brits, specially their TV pundits, have this misplaced sense of being great footballing nation. So it was brilliant watching Ibrahimovic give a lesson or two about how to be a great football star!.... Yes, even England captain, Gerald, acknowledged that 'the goal was probably the best he has ever seen'....
Mario B Posted November 16, 2012 It was only a friendly, I would like to see him do that in a world cup final.

Garnaqsi Posted November 20, 2012 Oba, don't worry - you're not the first American to think that UK and England are the same thing.

NGONGE Posted November 29, 2012 ^^ It was BETTER! N.O.R.F;891402 wrote: Are you serious???? :D I'm not going to talk football with you ever again. *shakes head* It was an overhead kick from THIRTY yards. Hit and miss, saaxib. Wax fahan.
N.O.R.F Posted November 29, 2012 ^It wasn't hit and miss. He jumped high and did an overhead kick. He controlled and angled it to get it on target and in at a speed ensuring it went in before anyone could get back. Look at the slow motion. He actually meant to put it in that corner. Show maad ciyaari jirin
NGONGE Posted November 30, 2012 Here is the goal: Here is Oscar's And here is Suarez Look at both and tell me that the FIRST required more skill than the second. War Ibra's goal is great and all that but it relies on a lot of luck (despite his intention, great idea and quick thinking). The Suarez goal DEMANDS a whole lot of skill to execute. Watch how he catches it on his shoulder, how he has to move his body out of the way to allow it to fall into the path of the correct foot, how in the middle of all that he still has the quick thinking and ability to evade an on rushing keeper. p.s. Maad ciyaari jirin is a weak excuse, saaxib. We both played in our local parks and in hastily arranged amatuer "tournments". Don't act like some former pro now. N.O.R.F Posted November 30, 2012 Erm, Oscar's was just a shot, a good one, but still just a shot from the edge of the box. He didn't set himself up either. He was lucky the ball ended up right where he wanted it. Even if he did mean it, its nowhere near as good as Ibra's (it was a shot ninyow). Suarez's was a great goal which was well executed. Once he managed to control it and bring it down the rest was standard (going around the keeper etc). Ibra's was unique. It required him to move his whole body above his head, get a decent connection then direct it in from 30 yards, Even in park football there are those who could execute all three of the above and those who would try and save them
