The assertion that Gedo belongs to Baydhabo, and not Kismayo is not credible. I have heard it before , and it does not make sense.

Maybe it's the fact that it's on the Juba River and that it is historically part of Jubbaland

Gedo should belong to Baydhabo by history and settlement. The two historical districts of Gedo, Luuq and Baardheere, were seats of two Imamates of Baydhabo community.

There is definitely a Gedo community, if you have an ex to grind with them or you are alleging they have taken someone else's land, that is your own problem and one which there is nothing you can do about.

Somalis never tried to have proper reconciliation process their idea of reconciliation is to reconcile warlords in foreign capitals. How come no one ever tried to reconcile the nation in a proper way inside the country by Somalis for Somalis.

 

Did the civil war end we don't know all we know is they keep ignoring that Somalis fought an ugly civil war and need to reconcile for the sake of their country and the future of their children.
