Aaliyaah SNM initially started off as a unionist movement but because SNM was a very democratic organization and it was funded by Somalilanders they went along with what the people wanted. Buuba left Somaliland when Somaliland declared independence he said this was not what he fought for i have met Buuba a few times the man has some kind of obsession with mega Somali republic. Aaliyaah the idea of an independent Somaliland was presented at the conference in burco SNM didn't want an independent Somaliland at first. But when a group of Somalilanders joined the conference and started talking about that Somaliland is maybe better of as an independent state. People started welcoming this idea it was the people at the conference who had the last say and not the SNM.

At least three former Somaliland officials have arrived this week in Mogadishu and are expected to join the new government of Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

 

The former vice-chairman of Somaliland’s ruling Kulmiye party, Abdirahman Abdiqadir Farah, is in the Somali capital to take up a key role. According to reports in Mogadishu, he is speculated to become the new minister of state for internal affairs, which sees him head the ministry of interior.

 

Another official that has left Hargeisa is Mohamud Rage Ibrahim, the former Director-General of Somaliland’s Foreign ministry. Mr Ibrahim is rumored he will be appointed as the new Director-General of Somalia’s Ministry of social affairs.

 

Mohamed Omar Arteh Ghalib, the son of Somalia’s most prominent foreign minister is among those who left the current Kulmiye administration for Mogadishu. According to sources close to Somali prime minister Abdi Farah Shirdon, he will be named as a senior ambassador to undisclosed country.

 

The stability in Mogadishu is creating new opportunities for Somaliland political and business figures and dozens have left in the last month alone.

 

They join Fowsiya Yusuf Haji Aden, who was recently named as Somalia’s foreign minister after leaving her blacklisted political party in Hargeisa.

 

Like Fowsiya, the ruling party mistreated its former vice-chairman and caused him physical injuries. He left the country for medical care abroad before returning just months ago.

You are right Abdilqadir is the same as sifir, Tuur, Buuba, Fowziya...

Buuba is different adeer didn't we talk about it he never flipflopped never supported Somaliland always a unionist

 

Sifir is a flipflopper he was a deputy prime minister of Somalia in 2007 he is now an ambassador for Somaliland.

 

And abdulqadir to that is if they appoint him as deputy Minister if the news is true so far its just rumors.

 

Fawziyaa is an opportunist she just wanted a job but she is a very pro Somaliland she is not even certain about SL and Somalia unity.
