The SSC ones is and remains a proper debate. SL's is a simple case of UNION or no UNION. SSC's has the good, bad and ugly of Somalia, PL and Somaliland (not to mention all the different faces of SSC itself: Khusuusi, SSC, Khaatumo, etc). Anyway, the predicament of SL isn't not only about Fawziya's departure to the union but whole series of events in the past two years, from the loss of Kalshaale, inability to close the border, embarrassment from Buhodle attack, recognition setbacks, participation of Somalia’s constitution in Mogadishu, the conferences it attended as part and the parcel of Somalia and many more including Fawziya's.
