The president, prime-minister and ministers are political leaders, they are not really the government perse.
oba hiloowlow Posted November 4, 2012 thats the problem dee why oppose a whole government because your adeer isn't running the gov, the worst thing is president Hassan and Pm Saacid hasn't even been given the chance yet they are already opposing them taa ayaaba ah mucjisada ugu weyn
Che -Guevara Posted November 4, 2012 Those who are calling the government dumb-jadiid before it takes off have no desire for progress but let's not forget Somalis have concern with what goes on in Xamar. Ignoring those concerns will have serious consequences. On sidenote, the only thing many people agree on this forum is their hatred for AS but nothing else in common, just platitudes about Somalia rising again. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted November 4, 2012 Yes che you are correct the meaning of government and governance should be explained to the people its more than just President prime minister and a few Ministers its about the governing structure of how the state operates, and how the rule of law applies to all of its citizens and how the highest body of the nation preserves the authority over the country and protect its citizens. Its more about just a few cabinet sessions a government is for the people by the people. The reason che why people are so anti government sometimes is every one want to be a siyad bare no one wants to be a victim. Every one thinks use the governmental resources to screw other clans and protect his or her Clan/ Community status along the way. Thats why u see people blindly following political leaders there is no trust in the system why because Somalia functions not as a normal country and there are no governmental institutions. Somalia Posted November 4, 2012 The government is acting like a lame duck entity so quick into their term.. As if this policy of waiting 1 month for something to be announced is part of a "genius" tactic.
Che -Guevara Posted November 4, 2012 XX....It's not even 'the tribe in power', it's the elite within that tribe and the tribe eventually pays for the actions of that small elite when it comes war comes knocking at their door. You are right Siyad Barre syndrome is in every so called Somali leader except none of them can be Siyaad since they don't have the Somalia Siyad took over jn 1969. True no one wants to be victim! Xaaji Xunjuf Posted November 4, 2012 The tribe pays the highest price every single time how many times have u seen a political leader touring the west America Europe and the clan community rents entire 5 star hotels to welcome him as a lost son. And people sing and compose poems old Somali ladies and they collect and sponsor him,for what you are making a rich politician feel like a king while he returns little to the community. But Somali tribes will support their guy whether he is wrong or right they will support him because they have no trust in the system. Now we are hearing about jam jadiid a supposed group the president and his allies belong to, now they are being portrayed as the elites.
