Skeptic Posted November 4, 2012 I been to that city twice in the past 4yrs .. Its rapidly growing by the day .. but I have to say, the people of Ethiopia (Somalis and Ethiopians alike) are the perhaps the least civilized people you will see (education and hygiene). Its rude to eat outside in the public but very common for a grown man to urinate on the side of the street or highway ..

Timur Posted November 4, 2012 Beautiful pics, Blondy. The growth rate is impressive, and the efficiency of their government when it comes to construction is praiseworthy.

Mario B Posted November 4, 2012 While the world is moving ahead, Somalis are arguing or boasting about which clan/sub clan enclave is the best!

walaalkis Posted November 4, 2012 I remember living there In the 90s , it's great city . Just amazing . Lots of progress. I guess these people are not busy thinking about which clan will run for presidency or prime minister . Ethiopia is country with long history unlike thier neighbor with a long history of civil war
Jacaylbaro Posted November 5, 2012 I like Addis more than Nairobi ................ It is more quiet, nice and refreshing.
Carafaat Posted November 5, 2012 Addis is Africas Capital. Where you see the least colonial impact of all capitals.
