The campaigning, all though great to see, has been loud without much of a messege from any of the parties or their candidates. Maybe its difficult due to the number of candidates and parties in each district but the quicker these local elections take place the better. The people of SL can then start to concentrate on other issues.

kulmiye campaign leaders gathered around a few kulmiye hot-spots around h-town late yesterday evening and were giving out free t-shirts and campaign paraphernalia. some were later seen campaigning after 7pm in contravention of SL NEC rules.
