I don't know that but anything is possible in this part of the country. Now that you asked the question, there is something sinister about Kenyans providing resources, platform and military muscle to build this mini state. Jubbaland is the dead horse every clan is trying to revive. I question the wisdom behind it.

Everything is provided by AMISOM, I don't think they have sinister plans in regards to Somalia but rather their own country. They are now dealing with a growing separatist movement in the Coast Province, one which could be supported by Al-Shabaab if they controlled Jubboyinka. Securing Somalia would allow them to deal with these problems, and what if NFD started bickering...

The Kenyan don't want to stay that long maybe another year or so they have their own security issues. They just want to help with a state in kismayo they can work with and move out.

To get a sense of Kismayo and its good citizens, look no further than these fine nomads.

Awooweyaal, Kismayo is a great Somali city which is more than capable of accommodating all clans. Please drop the old clannish bravado and let us move forward towards the future.

This is simple: the central government should create special federal adminstered zones in multi clan urban centers. My list would include ceerigaabo, kalkacyo, and coastal cities in the banadir all the way to kismayo. as for Jubba and Gedo region, give equal seats to the Gedo group and afmadow but also make sure every tribe that lives in that region get 2 or 3 seats.
