Well, of the old friends or close relatives (some really wealthy or from a very top school/ academic ability), it's mostly characters that matters to me though it seems people network for business or practical reasons; I personally love more humble and honest people or less superficial ones (raising well children etc counts too as great success).

This mentality costs a lot since networks are keys; it's strange to some but I feel equally at ease with both categories and resent noone (wish everyone more success).

54 - NG. born into an upper middle class northern family NG was destined for success from a birth. he, however has not fulfilled the legacies of his forefathers whose conquests were legendary. NG was educated in Dal-Islamiya school before attending the international school of Dubai when it was all sand and anything beyond that seemed a mere mirage lol.

 

NG was never fortunate enough to be granted UAE citizenship' despite being born there as the so-called golden generation of ciyaal arab third culture kids and was forced to leave the UAE around the late 80s for London. here he settled among refugees and other provisional burao-ians that seemed to still acknowledge his convinced invisibility. in 1992 during the stock market crush dubbed 'black wednesday, NG made his first million after receiving insider information from an unidentified source. during the height of summer 1993, whilst still living the play-boy lifestyle of yesteryear's, NG was sentenced to 16months for perverting the course of justice for his role in the CND insurance insolvency affair.

in the mid of 2006 he visited his homeland -Somaliland, a regional administration in northern somalia and invested in several livelihood projects and established a new political party QUMAN on centre right policies. he was arrested and put behind bars in Mandeera prision along with gaboose and ina haashi by the former president of somaliland Dahir Riyale Kaahin. in 2008, NG returned to london with heavy debts. he sold off some of his properties and repaid them with interest. he now works a regular 9-5 job commuting on the hammersmith and city line every morning and has only 40,000GBP in savings.
