Mayorship is the least worry of Kismaayo or the President for that matter. Peace should be the priority now. The federal government should take the sole ownership and responsibility of the city and tell all these contesting clans to take a hike so the city won't be another clan battle ground. No clan administration, No Kenyan buffer zone, No statehood in Jubooyinka. No new mini states. Keep every city, state as is.

Making Puntland and Somaliland more democratic it aint rolling back progress. Clan states function in regions with Sub-clan hegemony, taking that model to the South where the clan structure is mosaic is madness, IMO. And why is PL busy trying to build a Sub-clan state In Juuboyinka when it opposed Khatumo from the very inception?:confused:
