good morning y'all. its approx 09:29 here in the nation's capital. i'm back at the office, i'm afraid. it's dusty and several large cobwebs have formed since taking leave on the 18th of July. there's a lot of work to be done to restore this 'little' space back to working order. i've brought along some cleaning products and will scrub away for the next couple of hours.

 

i'll be back here tomorrow, too.......and probably for the rest of the year, save for the 7 days of leave i've kept for personal and familial emergencies. the work has piled up and so too has the BS. i've had ample time to think. we'll see laakin............

Selam nachihu y'all. Left Addis and currently in transit in the US en route to visit my parents in Canada, I haven't slept since leaving Jijiga (which would have been Friday night eastern time, it's now close to noon Sunday on the east coast). Flying directly to Toronto next time, I've never had a worse experience with US customs in my life, and I'm sure a lot of it has to do with flights coming from Africa/the third world. I'm tired and I'm pissed :mad:
