Here we go again.....for the 1,000,000 time this week the faux nationalists from Garowe and the ultra unionists call for Somaliland's end.

For a nation that's under foreign occupation, facing an insurgency, undergoing humanitarian crisis, piracy and the worst corruption in the world, this preoccupation with Somaliland could be better spent improving what you currently administer.

Besides the union was between two equal signatory partners that each had their own sovriegnty, therefore any party can choose to dissolve the union by their own accord. Apparently that fact always seems to be conveniently passed over by unionists.

Garowe has threatened to go it's own way a number of times yet you feel it is best placed to advise the president on the SL situation. Promising Garowe will never leave is neither here nor there as the above fact calls into question Garowe's nationalism.

 

The real nationalists are in fact the one who are ready to talk to SL without any preconditions.

The new president is a good man who said good things about Somalia and her people. He is just a new comer who needs to be reminded on the reality on the ground. SL is perfectly positioned to enter talks with the Federal government. We support the talks as they are good for Somalia.

 

The rest is just an effort to school ....
