General Duke Posted September 23, 2012 ^^^ NORF you have been here long enough to know no one can Puntland in any position contrary to it's interest. Garowe has threatened not to cooperate with any entity that does not recognize the rights of the Somali people. Also under the Federal constitution the secessionist project based in Hargaysa is illegal.

Somalinimaddu waa arrin muqaddas u ah dadka iqliimkaa deggan... What Garoowe will do however is to never allow a convenience political alliance to form and emerge on the expense of Somali unity, or, even worse, on the expense of justice and political equity. It's good that he acknowledges the suffering of the people in that region, however that has nothing to do with the divisive and inferior clan dream of dividing the Somali union. Also power sharing will not be 50/50 as some hold because the NW is not 50% of the nation nor is that clan more or less important than the rest. There are some groups who have played into the hands of the secessionists. These groups need to focus on their interest and end the occupation o their lands. I think the President should focus on building a strong government that gives its citizen's some basic social programs. They should get rid of any terror cells still operating in the south...I think that's some basic, but an important goal for Somalia. You're too infatuated with SL dukey, SL shouldn't be a priority for this President.

Suldaanka Posted September 23, 2012 So Dukey, what is your solution to Somaliland's cause? :D And why have you abandoned the "occupied regions"? Don't tell me many of your sons died for a lost cause in and around Laascaanood?
The Sage Posted September 23, 2012 Here we go again.....for the 1,000,000 time this week the faux nationalists from Garowe and the ultra unionists call for Somaliland's end. For a nation that's under foreign occupation, facing an insurgency, undergoing humanitarian crisis, piracy and the worst corruption in the world, this preoccupation with Somaliland could be better spent improving what you currently administer. Besides the union was between two equal signatory partners that each had their own sovriegnty, therefore any party can choose to dissolve the union by their own accord. Apparently that fact always seems to be conveniently passed over by unionists.
N.O.R.F Posted September 24, 2012 Xiin, Garowe has threatened to go it's own way a number of times yet you feel it is best placed to advise the president on the SL situation. Promising Garowe will never leave is neither here nor there as the above fact calls into question Garowe's nationalism. The real nationalists are in fact the one who are ready to talk to SL without any preconditions. AYOUB Posted September 24, 2012 Why is there a sense of panic and restlessness among federal pirates since Abdiweli lost the vote? The new man in Mogadishu will do things his way and it's useless for cyber buccaneers to be making demands like the new president is their hostage. xiinfaniin Posted September 24, 2012 ^^ :D Ayoub waa Ayoub... The new president is a good man who said good things about Somalia and her people. He is just a new comer who needs to be reminded on the reality on the ground. SL is perfectly positioned to enter talks with the Federal government. We support the talks as they are good for Somalia. The rest is just an effort to school ....
