Secessionist ideolog has no place in a Federal Somalia

The new President has to clarify that he opposes the secession of NW Somalia at all cost.

It's good that he acknowledges the suffering of the people in that region, however that has nothing to do with the divisive and inferior clan dream of dividing the Somali union.

 

Also power sharing will not be 50/50 as some hold because the NW is not 50% of the nation nor is that clan more or less important than the rest.

 

 

There are some groups who have played into the hands of the secessionists. These groups need to focus on their interest and end the occupation o their lands.

The President of Somalia already clarified that the union made in 1960 is terribly damaged and when the talks begin between Somaliland and Somalia he will clearly see there is no hope of restoring that union.

The President of Somalia swore on the Holly Quran to defend Somalia's sovereignty & territorial integrity. Thus whatever his personal opinions, the NW will have a role in Federal Somalia but no more.

According to you're constitution right now you have no capital they yet have to decide that as you said there is no place for Somalilanders in a federal Somalia that's exactly what is happening. The last thing i worry about is Somalias constitution adeer taasi wax weyn maha. Its not Somalilanders begging,its Somalia's president who spoke about Somaliland history and the union of 1960 the atrocities committed against the people of Somaliland and that he welcomes further talks between Somaliland and Somalia and the Somaliland govt welcomes that.

You're constitution also states that you're elders should appoint the MPS in you're Parliament in Somalia. 44 of the Somaliland so called MPS in you're parliament were not appointed or selected by the Somaliland elders so its pretty illegitimate according to you're own constitution.

To claim Somaliland clans are NOT represented in Somalia parliament is to nullify the election of the new president. Surely the new president would NOT want to entertain such an argument

 

It is good to dress up the wounds of Somali civil war in order to solidify the unity of Somalai and her people

Actually the Siilanyu gangs position is illegal under Somali law. The fact that they don't respect Somalia, burn it's flag and insult it's leaders does not bode well for the new President who is a blue and white flag carrier...
