MMA way is wareerinayaan dadkana waa lagu ciyaarayaa ee they know that Abdiweli is a history. Let the guy enjoy his retirement from Somali Politics.

Not sure why ppl are so upset at A/Welli other than he was more educated than all previous leaders and even current ones. His achievements aside Somalia needs a man like him. Those who think that A/Welli alone represents the interest of certain segment of Somalia will be in for a rude awakening. His achievements are grand and the most significant was the humbling of the Sharif's and creation of the Federal Republic.

He started the process of 'rajo soo kicis'? Muxuu sameeyey, bal noo sheeg? His departure paved away for the road map, and it is what got us here. Sheikh Shariif's tenure was a stalemate till Badbaado Qaran.

Are you guys kidding us? I mean if it weren't the disgruntled masses of the H block who refused to have A YEY (AUN) as their president I don't think Sharif would have had a chance to the seat of the presidency in a fair game . This guy was an epitome of an inept leadership who lacked both cherisma and courage which are essential qualities of a leader. He wasn't good in public speaking either and was a timid by nature. For good portion of his tenure he couldn't even set a foot outside of his clan territories to speak with other Somali leaders and we remember A Yey was going from Baydhabo to Jowhar and to Mogadishu without fear.
