Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted September 13, 2012 Go' ma'aha ee waa cimaamad, the Soomaali version. It is an updated version of old Soomaali cimaamado. The old design pre-war had less intricate designs and more blunt. So the new ones has more designs and looks more beautiful. Didn't you read this that I posted on above: Cimaamadahaas Soomaalida bas isticmaasho, iyagaana saas u saarto. And I am glad to say more and more people are using this cimaamad than the Sacuudi, Khaliiji and Falastiini versions, to make a statement. Even Barbaarta didn't like this cimaamad because apparently it promotes the distinct Soomaali culture. You would hardly see any Barbaarta wearing cimaamad like this.
