Major project currently on going: Dikfare hospital Turkish Childrent Hospitals Roads Street lights (These solar lights are changing xamar's night life ) Dahabshiil bank Countless private sectors projects (everywhere you look a hotel , building, house is being built ) I have spent 10 days in Xamar Cadeey and it was paradise on earth. ilaahay ha u ziyaadiyo inshallah. Marksman Posted February 28, 2013 Great news. I wonder what the pavements will look like. And what people in Mogadishu are doing to get all the sand out of the inner cities. These machines could be useful in the future. I've read that one of Mogadishu's main issues now is trash (within the city and on the edge of the beaches). Are there any plans for organized trash collection and trash bins all over the city? I think trash collection should be done by a private company. raula Posted March 1, 2013 I was just gonna say that..dhismaha ka soco xamar many are similar to Islii ....& I am afraid that come hurricane/eartchquake..(allow no sahal), they will be like the recent Haiti earthquake. Now back to optimism-Walahi i have never seen xamar iyo agagaarkeeda & would love to meander those streets & their beaches they are beautiful (the whole of Somalia for that matter). PS: We need a conservationist like Wangari Maathai to reforest the country. The country was barren to begin with & now even worse!
