The Zack Posted September 7, 2012 ONLF madaxeeda iskumaba dhicin, they are as united as ever! The late Dolaal defected from the ONLF seeking for the top post. Unfortunately he was killed by Xabashida while with some Itixaad soldiers. This is before Sh. Ibrahim and his Itixaad org surrendered to Xabashida. This had 0 impact on ONLF. What was (and still is ) going in Kenya is some TPLF collaborator and/or CID members are hunting down the ONLF organization with here and there assasinations. ONLF understands and is well ready for those kinds of attacks.
Faafan Posted September 7, 2012 I never understood why some of us express such vitriol towards an organisation whose only objective is to liberate a region from a foreign aggressor.I'm sure Ethiopia can accommodate its clannish objectives if it had any.As the leader of Gorgor says himself a Non-O they are mediators in clan conflicts because they understand that if mere clan conflicts occupy the minds of the populace then noble ideas of liberation would be sidelined. Zack is right Dr.Dolaal fell-out with the ONLF and subsequently he was expelled. His death was unfortunate, Abdi Ilay then security chief displayed photos of Dolaals corpse on his website before taking it down he also gave several interviews confirming the death of Dolaal at the hands of Ethiopian defence forces. The Ethiopian government also boasted on news portals. MMA the assassination of some senior ONLF leaders in Kenya was conducted by Ethiopian Intelligence, there is no internal conflict within ONLF.
Khadafi Posted September 7, 2012 I truly believe that our brothers in that region will only attain freedom when their brothers in Somalia are united and have a strong leadership, They have been fighting for decades and are not even amongst themselves (O-unit) united. If they are not united what do you think about other soomali clans that feel alienated or not affiliated with them? Been maa lisku sheega. I To the east they have vindictive Hargeysaawis and to the south they have other somali clans who are suspicious about them. Lets drop the act come to the table, ha la tashto hana lis fahmo. The Zack Posted September 7, 2012 Khadafi, in the history of mankind, it has never happened. Entire people of a country never you united against the occupiers of their land when fighting for a freedom. Some fight for the freedom, some don't fight, some collaborate with their enemy. The freedom fighters have always won. Faafan, there are some Somali folks that hate Xabashida, but they hate the ONLF more. Have no idea why. "Dad bey meelu bugtaa.."
