What do SOL'ers think of such a move. Are we ready to have a woman as head of cabinet? Considering we have never had women hold any of the important posts such as Finance, Foreign, Defense or interior.

The civil war took away the prize of the first female president in Africa that people use to theorize Somalia would elect one day, but we clearly didn't since we destroyed our own superstructure called the 'state'. The first female prime-minister would be the next best thing.

Sorry.....Abdiweli lied to Somali women before by stating that their 30% representation will be guaranteed. It is obvious that he himself is one of those who looted positions that could have been selected for women. His sub-clan did NOT select any females. Somali woman should not listen to his lies.

Duke, you know that I am right on this....Yes it is his fault as well as his clan. By the way he was the one that reassured all Somali women that they will get their share not his clan, so most of the blame goes to him.

I think he will make up for it if there's a female PM, do you not agree Abwaan? I agree, I was disappointed about not meeting the quota. But it was the job of the Technical Committee, he doesn't deal with the clans.
