Abu-wehliye Posted September 6, 2012 Dear Brothers/ Sisters, Islam has reached most of African coasts especially East African countries by convection, no force or violence was ever used to convert people. Muslims come with their merchandise and Africans were impressed with their business ethics and trust. Later on, people in the region start questioning the new comers believe any many become Muslims (????? ???). Muslims and non-Muslims in the city of Mombasa that lived side by side for past centuries with a religion tolerance are today in different arena. Allah says in Quran “there is no compulsion in Islam” There are voices in the region that wants to export their problems to other countries and Muslims should stand-up against such distraction. We need to go back and remind ourselves how Muslims and non-Muslims got alone for this long? [/font]

I thought it was clear thread and easy to understand but its my mistake ! I was concern about recent violence in Mombasa between Muslims and none Muslims which made me wonder where the city of Mombasa is headed with religious intolerance...
