Duufaan Posted August 30, 2012 They recognise the power of sharif saakin, and they want his involvment for election of a friendly president,
Mintid Farayar Posted August 30, 2012 Hate him or like him, if you've read the Wikileaks State Dept cables, Sharif Hassan comes across as the most reasoned and rational from a Western perspective of the current TFG actors. All others were simply seen as openly pushing a narrow, clan-agenda in their private meetings with U.S. and other Western diplomats. Plus, he was labeled as the most sensitive to Ethiopia's interests among the current leadership (a favorable characteristic from security-centric Western viewpoints). It will be interesting to see what role he plays from this point on. After all, this man has played a central role in the TFG saga for the last near decade.... I think he went to Nayroobi to persuade Kenyaatigaas to back his planned maamul goboleed ku sheeg in Koonfurta Galbeed. He never had much support from his larger clan base, contrary to popular beliefs, save those who he used to pay well. Nonetheless, they supported his presidential aspirations in the name of their clan. Now, however, he is capitalizing their disillusioned state against Jawaari and wants to create this so-called maamul goboleed. Kenya is first step oo laga dhaadhacsiiyo this project of his. Sanaawi would have been the first to get a visit if he was alive, but to him Kenya is more urgent now since they are backing Asaaniya. If he succeeds this, Jawaari is finished. I hope he doesn't. The Zack Posted August 31, 2012 ^ But Jawaari is a speaker for the "Federal" Parliament. I don't see a mere maamul goboleed in Bay & Bakool will take him down or something

General Duke Posted August 31, 2012 The truth is closer that the Kenyans have called him about the elections. There won't be any talk of admins and even if it was true it's the Erhiopians who hold sway in that region. Oh well it might be all in my imagination... Confirms what I have been hearing. 'Jawaaris is finished' means, I gather, his influence as a politician would be greatly diminished if Sharif Hassan gets a third political life. Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted September 1, 2012 If Shariifkaan succeeds with this, Jawaari meesha in uu sii joogo wey ku adkaanee and his influence will get weaker and weaker, which to begin was non-existent among his clan. Dad aan reero qabiil ahayn ayuu mideeye, meaning folks from Koonfurta Galbeed are mad. They are really mad at Jawaari, as though he personally did something against them, conspiring with others against them. The new xildhibaano from Koonfurta Galbeed did not vote for Jawaari, only the few xildhibaano in his clan did. Jawaari is getting his support from his clan in Buurhakaba and that is it. He is soon becoming like Cabdi Muuse Mayoow, the ostracized SDM leader who led Caydiid Sr. to Koonfurta Galbeed in early '90s. Some are already accusing no wonder they share same clan, as though their clan itself is blame. Shariifkaan no doubt will use this leverage. And it is sad, of all people Shariif Xasan leading still. General Duke Posted September 1, 2012 Nonsense again. Jawaari is from the largest **** clan who held celebrations in Baidoa today and Sakiin with all his all has lost a great deal of influence. Even if some supported him in the past things have changed today. No one loves a loser much like Galayr. As for the admin there will be one and it's federal state that will create it. Azania is on the rise in the Juba's and Bay, Bakool & lower shabelle will get one for the **** without the influence of Xabsade & Sakiin...

General Duke Posted September 1, 2012 ^^^ Indeed communities will support whoever wins. The ludicrous notion that those who lost will be key players is so Somali that is laughable.
