Tallaabo Posted August 30, 2012 The ridiculous 4.5 thing was probably devised by someone who does not hold even a high school diploma. It is totally unfair, backward, hinders progress, and entrenches the evil tribalism which plighted our society. Somalia's problems are not difficult to solve once and for all if there is the will to do it. All that is needed to form legitimate political institutions and a government is to take a census of the whole population, issue ID cards for every man, woman, and child; and then the central database to issue ballot papers to all those who are eligible to vote. Let every voter use his/her vote to chose whichever candidate they want instead of an uneducated, unelected, and an unaccountable bunch old self-appointed tribal chiefs deciding for them.
