Now given that this is over and Shariif Hassan has lost. What about the Presidency? I have a feeling that Shariif Ahmed is going lose too, he doesn't look strong or confident even the H-block aren't very fond of him, also I don't think there is a real strong candidate from that block, so could this contest be between Farmaajo and Abdiwali? I think Farmaajo has a good chance specially after this outcome.

 

Congrats to Jawahir but we hoped a different result. The two top positions still remain at he hands of the same usual clans - not so the change Somali was hopping for.

I've long held the view that Sharif Hassan is a degenerate politician who not only is incompetent, but is extremely corrupt and dishonest. He isn't fit to run a Post Office, let alone be a senior Government official. He's exactly the type of poisonous person which the Somali Government needs to rid itself of
