Ok lets see just some of the things Gaas achieved while in office.

 

1) All Mogadishu was liberated and the first time in 22 years only one authority rules the city, also liberated the surrounding area. many embassies are back in the city. and liido is open for swimmers.

2) He brought regional admins such as PL, Galmudug, Ximanxeeb on board and all co-operate with the gov.

3) Somalia had a written constitution first time in decades.

4) Somalia & Somaliland had a dialogue for the first time since 1991.

5) All government staff and army salaries paid on time.

 

These are gigantic achievement for a country such as Somalia which had no system for 22 years, of course I am not giving him all credit for these things as his previous admins such as Geedi, Nur Cadde, A.Rashid sharmake, Farmaajo all did their bits, but show me any one who achieved such progress in short term.

 

and for your information A.Wali was cleared of the missing funds by the IC monitors since most of it went missing during Farmaajo's term.

same thing can be said about AUN Warlord A/Yusuf's divisive presidency and Ethiopian troops, AUN Siyad Barre, President Abduqasim, President Shariif, Abduwali. The only difference is each candidate has more or less in particular region.

Farmaajo is wasting his time and will not get anywhere, Galayr has every right to run and is doing this because of his personal gain not for any clan, Farmaajo should get a life and forget about the clan cancer and domination that crippled our community for far too long.

 

its never going to work as any Somali politician will never blink a second to give up what he can achieve for his person and think about general clan pride. No one is going to give up the speaker post because supposedly the greater clan might lose Presidecy/PM/ United Nations seat or what have you, yeah you can forget about that seat. No one cares.

The greatest mistake Puntland made was when they isolated the SSC clan back in 2007. Abdullahi Yusuf was still a "President" of the TFG, Puntland was stable and almost 90% of SSC people supported Puntland at that time. 3 years went by, by 2010 when the SSC Movement was declared and Puntland didn't do anything for SSC. No military support, no signs of willing to fight to liberate Lasanod.

 

Puntland's isolation of SSC was a political suicide. Abdullahi Yusuf was well aware of it and Cali Khalif took advantage of it.
