I don't think these guys realise that no seats were stolen, and that they were actually given to Sool natives, amazing isn't it, if they (Khaatumo movement) represent the whole region, then why do the Sool elders in Puntland disagree? I didn't read all replies. I think a good question is why is Somalia told to dedicate 30% of its parliament seats to women. Who or what country suggested this number and under what criteria did this number come up? Do women make up about 30% of the population in Somalia? Why not 50%, 40% 20% or 10%? I am trying to understand the logic behind this argument. What IGAD country or countries that are involved in Somali politics have 30% women representatives in their parliament?
