Although like many officials from Somalia I wouldn't be surprised if Galaydh embezzled or misappropriated funds. However since there is no definitive proof and the article is from a discredited website I think we'll have to give him the benefit of doubt...at least until real evidence surfaces.

1. Ali Khaliif Galeyr was a Minister when he defected the Siad regime and thus the highest ranking official opposing

The regime. This was in 1982!

 

2. He was Project Director of Mareerar Sugar factory till the factory was build and operational in 1980. Soon After he was promoted as a Minister of Industries, because of the succes of Mareeray project.

 

3. The plan was in operation since 1979, 3 years before he left the regime. The plant was funded by Kuwaiti's, Arab

Dev Bank, other donors,who all approved the final financial reports of the project in 1980!

 

4. Which millionare would seek a job as a teacher to earn a living abroad.
