Mooge Posted August 16, 2012 my investigation in nairobi fadhikudirir reveals moves are being made right now as we speak by all candinates. if one candidate is in the last round, his alliance will vote for him and the winner will pick prime minister from that supporing clan. Abdiweli - REGION: Puntland ALLIANCE (shariif xasan's clan, Hiiraan, Azania, few members here and there from all other clans) Farmaajo - REGION: Gedo/Galgaduud ALLIANCE (Galmudug/ximanxeeb/Galgaduud clan, 0.5 clan (split), few members here and there from all other clans) Sheekh Shariif - REGION: Banadir/Shabelle Dhexe ALLIANCE (somaliland clans, SSC clan, 0.5 clan (split), few members here and there from all other clans)

It is also interesting that Somaliland & Khatumo will be voting together.
MoonLight1 Posted August 16, 2012 If that is the case here is the result. (Rough estimate, but almost accurate). Total members of parliament 275. Abdiwali Puntland 35 **** 60 Azania 6 Hiiraan 7 Independent voters here and there 3 Total = 103 Farmaajo Gedo/Cabudwaq 10 XX,Galmudug 24 Others 20 independet voters 5 Total = 59 Sheekh Shariif. Banaadir/Sh.dhexe/Sh.hoose 20 Khaatumo 8 Somaliland under (**** block) 55 independent voters 5 Total = 88 Abdiwali is the president of Somalia, then he will appoint Sh.Sakiin as PM. Sheekh Shariif the parliament speaker

Duke, do you think Sakiin will give DG to Abdiwali for free????? if there is a such deal, then its obvious he will be crowned as PM.

Abdiweli will never nominate Sharif as PM. If elected he will select an educated individual. Godax Bare is the one I have heard touted, but the new PM will be closer in age and education to Abdiweli. Somalia Posted August 16, 2012 How can Puntland have only 35, that is a travesty, we must get at least 40, what a disgusting defeat, I am ashamed.
Mooge Posted August 16, 2012 abwan, xalada xildhibanada mel fiican bay maraysaa. puntland dhuusadeda qosleysa oo carfaysa. lool. xildhibanad gabdhaha in lagu badiyo ba larabay. arrintan alliances waa run abwaan because it is straight from fadhikudirir. fadhikudirir is always right 98%. one thing that can help abdiwlei is that xariif xasan clan is desiplined and not divided like other clans. things can change but if sharif xasan is allied with abdiweli, this is game changer. but sharif xasan is very greedy and can change alliances any minute. farmajo is making alliance with caddow. he is making big moves isaguna. shariif has somaliland behind him because siilaanyo made sure all these mps vote for shariif. why? because siilanyo thinks sharif is best chance for recognition. there is also somaliland oil search which sharif promised he will approve at federal level if shariif is back for one more term. things are boiling hot. adigu maxa war haysaa? Carafaat Posted August 16, 2012 You need 190 votes to get elected.Farmaajo's votes would be divided and what makes you think these votes would go to Abdiwali?

Mooge Posted August 16, 2012 what is carafaat talking about? ma fahmin what he means farmajo divided???
Carafaat Posted August 16, 2012 1. You need an absolute majority to get elected, which is of 275, you need 138 votes atleast. 2. Sakiin in your calculations has more (60) seats then Abdiwali(36). Why would Sakiin accept a second place from Abdiwali. 3. In your calculation there is no absolute winner. If there is no winner in firsr round, Farmmaajo's supporter will more likely support Sheick Shariif in the second round. Conclusion: From your own assupmtions Abdiwali comes out as the weakes candidate compared to Shariif, Sakiin, etc.

Mooge;857542 wrote: one thing that can help abdiwlei is that xariif xasan clan is desiplined and not divided like other clans Your right, this bloc is the most disciplined and they are the presidents makers, remember AY was won by the ****, and again we could see a big surprise. Abwaan we are waiting from you what Caddow is planning? an alliance with Farmaajo doesn't seem to be wise.
