They unfortunately went along with the EEZ project, undermining our sovereignty and completely going against our Xeerka Badda of 1972. There was a reason Somalia refused to recognize parts of its territorial waters as EEZ when they were first offered it. It is also noteworthy that Kenya was one of the countries that really supported this EEZ thing back then. And today, this cabinet accepted this EEZ BS and Kenya is within reach of our Navy's HQ. BTW, I understand it wasn't just this government that's responsible for this, but they had the opportunity to set things right but they didn't take it sadly. PS: The minister for (the many different types of transport ) should be shot. He is the ignorant fool that denied in baddeena cadadkeeda la caddeeye. Mooge Posted August 12, 2012 haatu, you are right they put subject aside for next new goverment to deal with. abdiweli explained that when they started working on it to correct mistakes of previous goverment and get back that EEZ there was so much propaganda and political pressure inside the parliament that his goverment decided to wait when a goverment with more time on its hands comes after the election. It is very dangerous subject and you can spend years correcting the EEZ topic. Abdiweli initially added the EEZ to the Road Map as one of the subjects to deal with during his 1 year goverment but his government later decided to wait for the new government after the election. watch Abdiweli was asked this question.
