After a long journey, after a number of wars(sayyidka, siyad, aideed, al-itihaad)The SSDF secured the regions of north-eastern somalia. The ever forgiving SSDF still negiotated and waited for 7 years for mogadishu to get it's act together but they didn't. in 1998 there was no more waiting. These great men paved the way for the people of this great region to raise the flag of puntland and become a government. Anyone in Somalia that has any dreams of Puntland disappearing think again.
